Philosophy

This business began out of neccessity and it has been the guiding force in all decisions made for ingredients, giving back and so many other decisions that must be made by a micro business owner. I made my first batch of soap to help my daughter's skin by getting away from artifical ingredients. That is when the philosophy of our 3 enviornments was born. I realized that we have an obligation to care for each of those environments the first being our bodies, the second our immediate surroundings and third our earth.

Ingredients

We forget, in our fast paced world to pay attention to what we consider the small things. Just as the foundation of a great meal starts with the ingredients so does a great soap. Quality coconut and olive oil, sustainably grown and harvested palm oil, healing herbs and beneficial essential oils are all used to create a bar of soap that isn't just a bar of soap.  You know when your eating a thrown together "just get it done" meal and when you are eating a meal that was prepared with consideration and care. Why not give yourself the gift of care in this small but impactful way every day.

Putting it all together

My goal is to make a damn good bar of soap, to pay attention to the ingredients and to be aware of the impact of those ingredients on both your skin and our environment.
Damn good soap doesn't just happen, well rarely. You have to understand what coconut oil does, what qualities does olive oil add, if you use castor oil what will it add and how much do you want. I spent over 5 years working on and tweeking my soap recipes.  Ingredients are important and so is the big picture, when you care about the little things you can't help but care about the bigger things.
